Description
This Silver Poplar spoon was carved from a tree I felled at Maragle, NSW.
It’s hand-carved using an axe, sloyd knife and hook knife and it’s been burnished with deer antler. It’s had a coat of flaxseed oil which both protects the wood and brings out the grain and patterns.
It measures 39cm long and is 7.5cm at its widest point.
