Craft Your Own Kuksa: A Hands-On Woodworking Workshop

First, step into the amazing world of traditional woodcraft! Then, make your very own kuksa. A kuksa is a classic Scandinavian drinking cup. It's carved from greenwood. Our workshop is in Chiltern, Victoria, at the beautiful Nat Ord Studio. Paul 'Polly' Boyer, a skilled craftsperson, will teach you.

To begin, you'll learn old-time techniques. You'll use only hand tools. These include an axe, a hook knife, and gouges. Soon after, you'll shape a piece of wood into a lovely cup. You'll learn how to carve, hollow, and finish the cup. You'll also learn to love the slow pace of carving!
