This serving board is made from reclaimed baltic pine. Or so I’ve been told!
It’s 43cm long by 17 wide at longest point and 3.5cm high. Treated with shou sugi ban method and an additional coat of tung oil. The top unbelievably smooth and underside has retained texture. The live edges and featured left in wood by insects makes it a unique piece.

This hand-carved eating spoon was made from Banskia integrifolia (Coastal Banksia) salvaged from storm damage at Nerriga, NSW.
A beautiful deep red, it’s been burnished with deer antler and orange oil.
It measures 15cm long, and 3.6cm at widest point.
This hand-carved spoon is made from a Silver Polar Tree that I felled at Maragle, NSW at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains. Now before you get upset that I felled a tree to make a spoon, this tree is not native to Australia and therefore what I consider to be a weed.
After carving I baked it in the oven to give it a beautiful golden brown colour and have coated it in 2 coats of tung oil. It’s got my makers mark on the back.
It measures 19cm long, 4cm bowl at widest point.
